Agreement and seller

Home of Skin is operated by Nicole Parris. When you create an account, purchase Premium or continue to use Home of Skin, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and enter into an agreement with Nicole Parris. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and, if using the service for an organisation, authorised to bind it.

The service

Home of Skin is a personal skincare journal for recording your skin, products, routines and professional treatments. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You are responsible for checking your entries and product information and for decisions you make using the service. Seek qualified professional advice for medical concerns.

We aim to keep Home of Skin available and reliable, but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Maintenance, faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally limit access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your sign-in credentials and take responsibility for activity under your account. You must not use Home of Skin for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, harassment, intellectual-property infringement, malware, security probing, automated scraping, unauthorised access, reverse engineering, resale, or attempts to bypass technical limits or disrupt the service.

You must have the necessary rights to content you upload. You grant Nicole Parris a limited licence to host, process and display that content only as needed to provide Home of Skin to you. We may remove unlawful or infringing content and respond to valid rights-holder notices.

Ownership

Nicole Parris retains all rights in Home of Skin, including its software, design, documentation, branding and other intellectual property. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You retain ownership of content you add.

Premium, billing and Paddle

Free accounts have limits shown in the app. Premium costs £6.99 per month or £75 per year and renews automatically until cancelled. Plan changes take effect immediately with a prorated charge or credit. If renewal fails, Premium remains available while payment is retried. Normal cancellation keeps Premium active until the paid period ends. If Premium ends, saved data remains readable and Free limits apply when you add new content.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our separate Refund Policy explains the 30-day refund window.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, legal requirements, or repeated or serious misuse. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. You may stop using the app at any time.

You can delete your account from Profile. Deletion immediately cancels active billing, ends Premium access and permanently removes your account, skin data and stored photos. This cannot be undone. Terms that by their nature should continue after termination, including ownership and accrued payment obligations, remain in effect.
