When the weather changes, your skin notices before you do. The routine that felt perfect in July can leave you tight, flaky or dull by November.
You don't need a whole new routine. Think swap, add, keep.
Swap: a light gel moisturiser for something richer, and a foaming cleanser for a creamy or gentle one if your skin feels tight after washing.
Add: a hydrating serum, like hyaluronic acid, under your moisturiser. In the evening, a barrier-supporting ingredient such as ceramides.
Keep: SPF every morning. UV doesn't take the winter off.
Simple layering order: thinnest to thickest. Morning is cleanser, serum, moisturiser, SPF. Evening is cleanser, treatment (such as retinol or an exfoliating acid on alternate nights), moisturiser.
Change one thing at a time and give it two weeks, otherwise you won't know what helped and what caused a reaction. That's what the product cabinet in Home of Skin is for. List what you're using, log your skin check-ins, and see what changed and when.
